Hepatitis C
Hepatitis C is an infection
caused by a virus in the blood which can cause damage to the liver. It is
common and was previously known as non-A non-B hepatitis. A test for
hepatitis C has only been available since 1990. Currently medical
knowledge about the virus is limited, but continually expanding.
