Hepatitis B
Hepatitis B is a virus which
affects the liver. Adults who are infected may have no symptoms or they
may become ill with fever, dark urine, nausea or jaundice (yellow skin and
eyes). After infection most people recover, develop antibodies to the
virus, and can't spread the disease to others. A few people cannot clear
the virus and they become carriers and may infect other people.
